Distorted Bar Code |
| For this series of warped bar codes I redesigned a standard UPC tag into a variety of shapes. I embraced the aesthetic limitations of the bar code by making art that is compatible with the scanning technology. I used the same Pepsi 2-Liter bar code for every image to further restrict the visual elements. It is the same code I used in my graffiti and signature. All the different shapes scan, although some take a little finnessing.
