Your flip book is a great idea. Anyone who says this is insensitive needs to realize that this isint a joke or meant to be funny, instead, another way to remember the tragedy of 9/11. People who instantly get mad at the fact that you made a flip book with images of the plane hitting the building need a reality check. Yes 3000 people died an thats terrible, but, it really pissed me off when i think about members of my family crying when the buildings fell.. but didn't cry about the more the 200,000 people that died during the 2004 tsunami or the tens of thousands of people who died during the more recent Japanese earthquake and tsunami. Americans are not more important then the rest of the world.. I feel like most Americans feel as if they are. 9/11 is shocking but now when i think about it it doesn't surprise me that it happened, what does surprise me is that it or something bigger didn't happen sooner. When you (i mean the US) go meddling in to other peoples business, it dosent surprise me that your going to make a few enemies sooner or later. The fact that it took so long for the US to be hit like that perplexes me. 9/11 Made Americans realize that we are not invincible, perfect, or the best. I made people realize that it wouldn't take a whole lot to kill thousands. I remember when 9/11 happened. My dad woke me up and told me to watch TV. I saw the World Trade Center on fire, then a replayed of the building being hit by a plane. at the time i was 11. i remember thinking to my self.. "i wanna watch cartoons" and "i hope they cancel school today because of this". I remember going to school and playing and laughing as if nothing happened. I remember my dad saying were going to war. I couldn't really figure out what the big deal was. I guess a 11 year old American boy who grew up in a middle class family has more important things to think about wile his country is being attacked. i didn't realize the scale of things. i didn't realize that it was a deliberate attack on America by fuckers who hate our country and its people. i didn't realize that something like that would start a war and make the world in to what it is now. Now i am 21. Thinking about 9/11 now boils my blood, because, the terrorist did what they set out to do. They scared America shitless. They made America go into wars they couldn't win, they succeeded at making our friends hate us. over all they whooped our ass.. and they didn't have to do much to succeed.
